It was a picture perfect day, with lots of members coming from as far as Bendigo and Geelong to enjoy the fun and friendship of PWP members.

The University of Southern Queensland (USQ) is conducting research into the role of fathers in feeding young children. Feeding young children has been predominantly researched with mothers, so little is known about fathers in relation to mealtimes. In fact, it can be difficult to attract fathers to this kind of research.
Fathers that complete this survey go into the draw to win a $100 Coles Myer voucher!
The researchers are seeking fathers of toddlers and preschool aged children (approximately 18 months to 5 years) that do not have a developmental or medical diagnosis. Fathers that are concerned about their child’s eating or mealtime behaviour are particularly invited to participate, though all fathers are welcome! Participation involves completing an online survey that takes about 30 minutes.

How Can I Join P.W.P.?
Contact our Head Office in Brisbane or your nearest branch and you will be given the date and location for the next new members' information session to be held in your area. After attending the session you will be given a month's free membership with Parents Without Partners. In that month you are invited to attend as many family and/or adult activities as you wish. At the end of the month, you may join Parents Without Partners by filling in a membership form and sending it plus the membership fee to our head office.
Should I Join?
Many of our most enthusiastic and current members were hesitant immediately before they joined. A certain amount of caution is only natural when one is taking an important positive step forward in life. In order to dispel any lingering doubts you may have, you are invited to attend one of our information meetings before committing yourself. In doing this you will have an insight into our activities and you will meet other members. This will place you in a far better position to make a decision.
What will it cost me?
First Year Membership Fee is $35.00 and renewal fee, if paid before the end of the expiring month, is $30.00. If paid after the expiring month, the fee is then $35.00.
